Covid tests can now be done quickly and efficiently thanks to rapid Covid tests. Healgen offers a reliable and quick self covid test that is guaranteed to give accurate results. This pack of 20 lateral flow COVID-19 tests can deliver results in as little as 10 to 15 minutes on average, making it faster than other tests currently available. Additionally, the test is user-friendly, with detailed instructions provided to ensure accurate results. The Healgen test, which detects nucleocapsid protein antigens from SARS-CoV-2 in direct nasal swab specimens, is one of the most dependable COVID-19 tests on the market. This kit is especially ideal for individuals who exhibit symptoms within the first seven to ten days of infection.

How it works

To collect the specimen, insert the swab into the patient's nostril and gently push it about 2 to 3 cm until you feel resistance. Rotate the swab around five times, making sure it touches the nostril's walls. Repeat this process for the other nostril, and then remove the swab.

To prepare the sample, locate the hole marked on the kit and insert the extraction tube. Gently remove the sealing film from the extraction tube to avoid any spillage. Next, insert the swab into the extraction tube that contains 0.3 mL of the extraction buffer. Press the swab's head against the tube's side and bottom while rolling it. After a minute, squeeze the tube from the outside to immerse the swab, then remove it. Finally, insert the tip of the swab into the extraction tube.

Interpreting The Results

  • If the line appears on the C mark, it indicates a negative result, which means that the person tested is not infected with the SARS-CoV-2 virus. However, it is advisable to retest after a few days since the virus may not always be detectable in all stages.
  • On the other hand, a line appearing on both the control and test lines (C and T) shows a positive result, indicating the presence of the SARS-CoV-2 virus. The line may sometimes be faint, but the result is still positive. If you receive a positive result, it is crucial to seek medical attention promptly. Additionally, you may confirm the results with a PCR test at your local healthcare center. PCR tests are typically more reliable and accurate, although they take longer and are usually administered by healthcare professionals.
